What the pricing difference means

Churn Buster's published Dunning Only starting price is $269 a month. At LastRetry's 10% rate, our fee reaches that amount in a month where we recover $2,690. Below that, LastRetry costs less; in a month we recover nothing, it costs nothing. Above it, a flat fee can be cheaper, and our rate drops to 7% and 5% as your MRR grows.

When Churn Buster is the better choice

  • You bill through Shopify, Recharge or another platform besides Stripe.
  • You'd rather pay a predictable flat fee than a share of recoveries, especially at high recovery volume.
  • You also want cancellation flows from the same vendor.

When LastRetry is the better choice

  • You're a SaaS on Stripe between $10K and $500K MRR.
  • You want to pay only when a payment is actually recovered, with every recovery shown on a case timeline.
  • You want retries that follow the decline reason, and SMS with a direct card update link.
